WILDERNESS FIRST AID

COURSE OVERVIEW & DURATION
The Wilderness First Aid Course (WFAC) is designed to guide first aiders to perform their roles in the remote environment that not accessible to Emergency Medical services (EMS). The 24-hour scenario-based training will equip participants with the relevant knowledge and skills that will enable them to perform their roles confidently in complex environment and conditions.
ASSESSMENT REQUIREMENTS
Participants are to fulfil the following criteria before awarded with Wilderness First Aid Certificate.
- Attain 100% attendance and competent in scenario in order to sit for the assessment.
- Attain 80% for theory assessment.
- Attain competent in practical assessment.
Those who fail will be allowed a 2nd attempt on the same assessment date. Those who fail on the 2nd attempt will be required to take a retest on another date.
COURSE FEE
The course fee is SGD$300.00 per person which includes the followings:
- 1 Wilderness First Aid Training Notes
- 1 Triangular bandage
- 1 Roller bandage
CERTIFICATION
The certificate is valid for 2 years.
