OCCUPATIONAL FIRST AID
COURSE OVERVIEW & DURATION
The course is designed to provide the basic understanding on the requirements of safety and when rendering first aid to a casualty. It is compulsory under WORKPLACE SAFETY AND HEALTH ACT (CHAPTER 354A), WORKPLACE SAFETY AND HEALTH (FIRST-AID)(AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS.
ESS Workplace literacy and numeracy Level 5 and above, if he/she doesn’t have Secondary 2 education level.
Participants are required to fulfill the following criteria before an Occupational First Aid and CPR+AED Certificates are awarded.
- Attain 100% attendance in order to sit for the test.
- Obtain 70% for OFA and 80% for CPR+AED theory assessment components.
- Obtain “Competent” for all practical components.
Those who fail any of the components will be allowed a 2nd attempt on the same assessment date. Those who fail on the 2nd attempt will be required to take a reassessment on.
The cost for each participant is $300.00 (New), $270.00 (Refresher). Singaporean are eligible for SkillFutures Credit.
