BASIC CARDIAC LIFE SUPPORT
COURSE OVERVIEW & DURATION
MHI Training Master is an accredited training provider to conduct Basic Cardiac Life Support Course by the Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council (SRFAC) for healthcare professionals. The 8 hours per day (Basic Cardiac Life Support) course is designed to provide the necessary Basic Cardiac Life Support skills and ability to perform Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) correctly and effectively and to perform life-saving technique in choking to a casualty when the need arises.
Participants are required to fulfil the following criteria before a Basic Cardiac Life Support Certificate is awarded.
- Attain 100% attendance in order to sit for the assessment.
- Attain 80% for BCLS theory assessment. Pass for all practical components.
Those who fail any of the components will be allowed a 2nd attempt on the same assessment date. Those who fail on the 2nd attempt will be required to take a reassessment on.
The cost for each participant is $100.00 (New), $80.00 (Refresher). Not eligible for both SDF Grant and SkillsFuture Credit.
The certificate is valid for 2 years. The Basic Cardiac Life Support course is accredited by the Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council (SRFAC).
